The overall objective of the project is to value
European culture, its heritage and take responsibility for a better Europe in
respect of sustainability.
The project with two courses of duration, seeks to
enhance the use of the bicycle as a means of sustainable transport and to value
the channels that surround the four cities that make up the project.
Two important objectives are worth highlighting:
For one to assess the importance of water in our lives, especially the value of
the channels that run throughout Europe and on the other hand, to promote the
use of bicycles, along Eurovelo routes to know the European heritage while we
pedal.
During the week of October 20-26, the Ntra. Mrs. de
la Providencia Center, in Palencia, project coordinator welcomes the first
mobility. Students and teachers of Aalsat in Belgium, Kuopio in Finland and
Stancuta in Romania arrived in the capital on Sunday afternoon to share
activities throughout this week.
This week there is a wide variety of activities
that revolve around specific objectives. The Castilla channel will be very
present, as well as the Water Museum, several bike routes and collaborative
work between partners from all countries.
